My good friend Daniel Watt is visiting Vancouver, and we decided to meet for a walk downtown with our cameras.

We ventured through Gastown, Chinatown, and the downtown core for about three hours despite the rain. When the rain let up, it was rather pleasant outside, and Daniel pointed out how he loved the reflections of the city lights on the pavement. This is Daniel's first visit to Vancouver.

I came home with a handful of decent street photography images. Still, I decided on this photo of Daniel saying hello to a golden retriever outside Revolver Coffee in Gastown for today’s post, as it will remain the most memorable to me.
