The holidays are done. We took down our Christmas decorations today and packed them all in bins, and they won’t see the light of day for another 11 months.

Over the holidays, we also sorted through some old boxes, and today, it was time to donate and recycle. It’s been the dreariest day you can imagine here in Vancouver, and if it weren’t for this 365-day project, I would not have brought my camera.

Today’s photo is from the Vancouver Transfer Station (the dump), where we sat in the lineup to drop our Christmas tree for a while. In front of us was a U-Haul truck. There was a battery fire, which caused a delay.
