Kodak Tri-X 400 - Ten Photos
Finally Shooting Film Again
I have been dragging my feet in regard to shooting film. The cost of film has been going up and I have to admit I am so impressed with the results I am getting from my Fujifilm GFX 50R and it is making it harder to justify the expense and extra work involved with shooting film.
Nothing, however, beats the tactile feel of my Nikon F3 HP. Winding the film, hearing the shutter, manually focusing, and generally just slowing down is a process I really enjoy.
I have a few rolls of Kodak Tri-X 400 in the fridge and more are on the way so here are 10 photos from the first roll of black-and-white film I have captured in a while.
Technical Info
For the photos in this post, I copied the negatives using my Fujifilm X-Pro2 with an AF Micro-Nikkor 60mm f/2.8D, and a Skier Sunray Copy Box 3 with the 120 film holder. The X-Pro2 RAW files have been converted using the Negative Lab Pro plugin for Lightroom.
