A Quick Stop in Geneva
Spending a Few Hours in Geneva
Photo Essay
We made a quick stop in Geneva about a month ago, on our way back to Paris. Before reaching Switzerland from Serralunga d’Alba in Italy, we passed through the impressive 11.6 km / 7.2 miles long tunnel at Mt. Blanc. We usually play a game in the car where we hold our breath while driving through tunnels (driver excluded).
However, we quickly gave up due to the number and length of the tunnels. We did make up another game though: Guess the length of the next tunnel. The sheer number of tunnels in this region is downright impressive.
Geneva was clean, expensive, efficient, rainy, and tricky to navigate without proper GPS. Di found a city app that took us through some of the highlights of the town center. We opted for a fondue dinner which was fine but rather costly. When in Rome.
