The Duleys Bid Hong Kong Adieu

After spending many years in the city, Sharon and Leighton are leaving Hong Kong at the end of April and returning to their native New Zealand. We count ourselves very lucky to have been welcomed in Hong Kong 3 times. Our last visit was 5 days at the end of March.

Street Photography in Hong Kong Central

Leighton hankered for one last photo stroll through the back streets of Central and so this became our objective on our last day in HK. It was a superb day with sunny skies. First, a tram ride from The Peak to Central.

A brief wander before lunch and then we hit our stride and continued tirelessly until dark. We made a brief stop at my new favorite gear headquarters in Hong Kong; Sim City, a camera and lens retail mecca in Mongkok. We both walked out of there with new Fuji gear.

There is an even mix of Leighton's and my photos below. I downloaded Leighton's photos just before we left and picked my favorites. Unfortunately, my backup of Leighton's photos was compromised as I ran out of space on my laptop. Hence the shots captured with his new camera later in the day did not back up. Sorry, Leighton.

We wrapped up the day with a cold brew with a few rugby buddies. A splendid way to end a day full of impressions. Thanks again to Leighton and Sharon and best of luck in your new adventures. Look forward to visiting with you in Canada and in New Zealand.
