A Couple of Hours With Friends in Coutances

Snippets From Our France and Italy Trip

After four days in Agon-Coutainville with our friends, Dagny and Philippe, they kindly drove us to Coutances where we would be taking the train to Nantes.

We arrived early so that we would have a chance to check out the market in the city center and Coutances Botanical Garden before heading to the train station.

The first item on the agenda was coffee and croissants at La Taverne du Parvis and enjoyed the entertainment outside for a few moments before circling the market a few times.

Shopping on Rue Trancrède was relexing and we explored the maze in the Botanical Garden.

I realize we do not have many words to describe Coutances on a grander scale but wanted to share a few snapshots from a wonderful morning that left us with memorable impressions, even if it was only a quick stop.

Please keep scrolling for more photos.
